Jan Nayak Ch. Devi Lal Memorial College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2003-04. It is duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and is affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak with a strength of 258 students. It is a Self Financing (non-minority) Technical Institution. It offers undergraduate course – 4 Years Bachelor in Pharmacy. Pharmacy is a very noble profession and it endeavors to improve the quality of life. As a Pharmacist our goal is to eradicate diseases from the whole world. Our soul aim is to serve mankind through new drug discovery research and development. We tend to introduce new drugs which have better pharmacological effects and lesser side effects. The main objective of pharmacy as a profession is to serve the mankind and discover novel drugs to establish a disease free environment. This profession is swiftly taking a new turn reaching vulnerable heights. In countries like U.S.A, Pharmacist is expected to advice the patient about dosage, indication, contraindication & interaction of drugs. It is the Pharmacist who is an expert to provide all information regarding drugs to the health professionals and also to the public. We, the future pharmacists of India can serve the nation by playing a meaningful role in the safe and rational use of drugs ensuring the patients maximum well being & participating in research for new drug discovery and development of various formulations. So as a responsible citizen we can contribute a lot in the development of country by our noble profession of pharmacy. |
